Your Charleston Real Estate Professional

Real Estate has been a part of Tara Chapman's life since childhood.  Her family owned a real estate and construction company and managed investment properties, giving her an in-depth understanding of the business and laying the foundation for her successful sales career.

Tara began her real estate career in 1997 where she was awarded Rookie of the Year for her office her first year in the business.  Throughout her career, she has worked for a large corporate franchise company, an upscale boutique company and on-site at the award-winning neighborhood of I'On.  This range of unique opportunities to work with developers, builders, architects, investors, designers, along with her expertise in negotiation, communication and marketing, enable Tara to deliver a high level of professional representation for her clients.

Tara values education and has earned numerous real estate awards and designations in her career including Realtor of Discinction, East Cooper Top Producer and CNE, Certified Negotation Expert.

Tara's passion for real estate, construction and philanthropy has emerged into an annual team-building trip to construct schools and houses in Honduras as well as volunteering with Habitat for Humanity to construct homes in the community.  Most recently, Tara served as a director of My Sister's House, a local not-for-profit dedicated to providing shelter, programs and services to women victims of domestic violence and their children to live free from abuse.

Tara lives in Charleston with her two teenage daughters and new golden doodle puppy.  In her free time she enjoys one of Charleston's most special features, the water.  Whether boating, paddle boarding, kayaking and most recently learning to sail, she is happiest in the outdoors.  She loves to travel, escape in a great book, or enjoy a nice bottle of wine with friends.
