About me: I LOVE the Lowcountry and have resided here for the past 35 years. A corporate transfer with U. S. Surgical Corp brought me to Charleston from Raleigh, NC.  My first home was west of the Ashley, then Summerville, then Old Mt Pleasant, then a couple of homes in Wild Dunes on the Isle of Palms and finally Mt Pleasant for the past 27 years.   

I am married to Bud and we have four children, Andrew, Christian, Joanna and Mary Grace, all graduates of Bishop England High School on Daniel Island.  Andrew (Citadel, 2017) married Allyssa Kemp in June 2022 at Boone Hall Plantation.  Christian (Trident Tech, 2019),  Joanna (College of Charleston, 2019) and Mary Grace University of SC, 2021 and Medical University of S.C. 2024.

Fostering health and wellness in my community is a significant focus of my life.  Teaching group fitness across disciplines including Spinning, yoga, HITT, TRX, weight training and coaching kids in golf, running or basketball, life is better when we are moving strong.
