Making the Lowcountry your home
Born and raised in Charleston as the youngest of five children, I am fortunate that all of my family still has roots in the area. When I say “roots”, I really mean “roots” – I’m from a farming family that has successfully grown things for over 100 years in this region. You’re likely to find me selling fruit at the Mt. Pleasant Farmers Market every Tuesday at the Maple Ridge Farms booth.
I attended First Baptist Church School in downtown Charleston for 13 years and graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management. I’m an avid Tiger football fan! My blood runneth orange, but I get along well with those who don’t share my passion.
Professionally, I worked for the Charleston Area Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce for 10 years as a Membership Manager, Director of National Sales and a Special Projects Manager. My love for big events led me to be the event director for several maritime related events, most notably the Around Alone sailing race and the Tall Ships festivals. I was also part of the host committee for the USTA Southern Sectional Tennis Tournament and the Quarter Final Davis Cup matches held in Charleston.
Following my passion for events, I worked for the PGA of America as Director of Sales and Marketing for the 2007 Senior PGA Championship and 2012 PGA Championship at Kiawah Island. These were two of the largest and most widely anticipated events in South Carolina’s history. My five years with the PGA of America gave me the opportunity to work on numerous major Championships around the country and the 2012 Ryder Cup in Chicago. I talk a mean game of golf, but have yet to break 100 on my scorecard!
By combining all of these experiences and connections, I look forward to helping you achieve your real estate goals in the most seamless manner possible.
